Author Bio

Alan Lynn is Senior Teaching Fellow in Sports Coaching in the Department of Sports Studies, University of Stirling, Scotland. An experienced coach and coach educator for British Swimming, he was sportscotland Coach of the Year in 1999 and has served on numerous international teams as a coach and team manager. Alan has written two other books for Crowood: Swimming - Crowood Sports Guide [2006] and Conditioning for Swimmers - A Guide to Land-Based Training [2007] and produced a companion Crowood DVD , Swimming - Techniques in Action [2008]
