Russ Howard has been curling for more than 30 years and competed in many international competitions and bonspiels. He is the creator of the Moncton rule, a rule change that dramatically changed the game and was later adopted by curling federations around the world. A member of the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame, Russ was selected as Canadas curler of the century by Sweep magazine. Russ was a member of Team Gushue, the gold-medal winning mens team at the 2006 Winter Olympics is widely recognized as one of the most strategic minds in curling.
