Anne Massey is a design curator, researcher and writer. She has organised exhibitions at the Hatton Gallery, Newcastle and the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London as well as contributing to exhibition catalogues published by the Haus de Kunst, Munich; the V & A; the Whitechapel Gallery and the Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg. She studied the history of modern art and design at Northumbria University, where she also awarded her PhD. She has worked as Professor of Design and Culture at several UK universities and was the founding editor of Interiors: Design, Architecture, Culture. She is presently Professorial Fellow at the University for the Creative Arts.
