Everyone dreams of a house by the sea, and in this book, a team known for style and taste presents a breathtaking selection of houses that will inspire homeowners, designers, and anyone who loves a water view. An irresistible selection of houses that embody "casual chic" in quintessential seaside towns around the U.S., from Block Island to Palm Beach, Sausalito to Malibu. Included are the best examples of homes that can withstand salty air and sandy feet, while offering beautiful spaces for relaxing in the serenity of the seaside and entertaining friends and family in style.
Nick Voulgaris III is an entrepreneur, writer, and avid sailor. Author of the book Hinckley Yachts (Rizzoli, 2014), he is passionate about boat restoration. His love for restoration and preservation spans into other areas as well, including the recent purchase and revitalization of Kerber's Farm, a historic farm and market on Long Island's North Shore. Nick lives in Manhattan and Oyster Bay, NY with his English Labrador, Charlie. Douglas Friedman is a fashion/interiors photographer whose work has been published in Harper's Bazaar, InStyle, Elle Decor, and Vanity Fair among others.
