Author Bio

Michelle Nussbaumer's design career began in Rome, where Valentino and Zeffirelli wereher neighborsexpats fell in love with the villa she had decorated and sought her out as aguide to Italian treasures. Moving to LA, Nussbaumer opened her design business and chicantique shop of La Brea. A decade later she returned to Dallas and opened Ceylon et Cie,where she continues to thrive. She was honored by Elle Dcor as one of the top five womenin design as well as counting her designs among Veranda's 2013 Top 25. Her work has beenfeatured in House Beautiful, Arch Digest, Marie Claire, House & Garden, and The New YorkTimes.
