Description

Mariette Himes Gomez, author of the bestselling Rooms and Houses, now turns her award-winning design sensibility to Apartments. Lavishly photographed in New York, London, and Florida, Apartments showcases the elegance and style that has made Gomez one of Architectural Digest's Top 100 Decorators Worldwide, and a go-to interior designer for a client list that includes Harrison Ford, Peter Lynch, and director Ivan Reitman. From the placement of an antique French cabinet in a 1920's Rosario Candela apartment in New York City to the replacement of mirrored walls for concrete floors in an ocean-side deck in Palm Beach, Apartments provides practical guidelines for building, buying, or renovating, and reveals how to create homes of unparalleled beauty and grace.
