Description

Portrait Milan: a new destination for the 16th-century monumental palace in Milan

A masterpiece of Lombard Baroque, begun in 1565, the ancient former Archiepiscopal Seminary was one of the oldest seminaries in Europe and the world. Today, thanks to a careful renovation project promoted by Lungarno Collection (the hospitality division of the Ferragamo Group, which owns hotels in Florence and Rome) and designed by architects Michele de Lucchi and Michele Bnan, the former Seminary reopens to the city through the Portrait Milano project: an exclusive hotel and an authentic way to experience the heart of the city, with outstanding shopping, gastronomic offerings, and events. This original project breathes new life into the former Seminary, with a contemporary vibe, while preserving its historic role as the vibrant center of hospitality, conviviality, and culture in the heart of Milan.
This refined photographic volume presents Portrait Milano, a new symbol of elegance and sophistication, discreet yet bold luxury, contemporary yet "timeless."
