Author Bio

The authors, George Hargreaves, Mary Margaret Jones, and Gavin McMillan have a combined 99 years of experience in the award-winning Waterfronts, Campuses, and Public Parks of Hargreaves Associates in the United States and around the world. As they work, teach, and travel worldwide, they are in the constant pursuit of the best design for the ongoing projects being developed. When home, their interests turn to vineyards; the perfect design of a deer-resistant Sonoma County perennial bed; re-working the plans, yet again, for a New York City family roof deck; and a low-maintenance New England garden that stays colorful from spring to fall.
