Cristina Carrillo de Albornoz Fisac is an independent art curator, critic, and author. Herwork has also been featured in publications including The Art Newspaper, The European, TheObserver, Beaux Arts, Architectural Digest Spain, La Reppublica, and the Spanish, Italian,German, and Mexican editions of Vogue. She has curated exhibitions on Balthus, Botero, WimWenders, and Frank Stella, and has written on subjects that range from Balthus, FernandoBotero, and Wim Wenders to Mahatma Gandhi and Satyajit Ray. Manolo Blahnik is aSpanish-born shoe designer and founder of his eponymous brand. After completing hisarchitecture studies at the University of Geneva, Blahnik moved to Paris and then Londonwhere he opened his first boutique. Since then, his shoe collections have been sought afteraround the world. Manolos, with their distinctively elegant and sleek look, have beenfeatured on the big screen as well as in popular songs. Blahnik has received over 10 majorfashion awards and has been honored by Queen Elizabeth II.
