Founded in 1990 by Davis and Dean Factor, the great-grandsons of Max Factor, Smashbox Studios and the Smashbox brand have become legendary in the world of glamour and makeup.

Born in a Los Angeles studio and put to the test by professional makeup artists and photographers, Smashbox is the heir to the most storied brand in American cosmetics. Known for makeup on and off the set, Smashbox draws from a legacy of over a century of Hollywood glamour, creating for todays celebrities what the house of Factor had done for the likes of Clara Bow, Joan Crawford, Jean Harlow, Bette Davis, Judy Garland, and many other icons of the golden age of cinema.
