Reviews

. . . those academic libraries supporting serious studies in twentieth-century popular music may find it a bonanza.-A.L.B.R.
I have nothing but praise for Ruppli's work on this book. It is a valuable addition to our knowledge about the primary facts that constitute the American recording industry and musical heritage. The Aladdin/Imperial Labels should be added to all major music libraries as well as smaller ones that emphasize American musics.-Notes
