Guitars and all of the music written with the guitar is infinite. The list of players who have been a part of history in that process is endless as well. The reason these iconic legends are mentioned in this book is either because of their specific signature model or because certain models were based on their style or preferences. Their collective "styles" have been the core foundation of music known around the world for 70 years.
