Immerse yourself in the glorious story of Black Sabbath with the stories of their classic songs, in one beautifully illustrated volume. This celebration of 50 years of Sabbath includes rare-on-the-page memorabilia throughout the book as it tells the story of the band and all their classic songs, as well as the hugely popular hits from Ozzy as a solo artist.
The late Carol Clerk was a veteran rock music writer, an author and an award-winning journalist. After many years on the staff of Melody Maker, most of those as news editor, she became a self-employed writer in 2001, contributing to publications including Uncut, Classic Rock and the Independent, and appearing as an expert in a variety of radio and TV programs and DVD music documentaries. She wrote and ghostwrote a dozen books, most recently biographies of Hawkwind and The Pogues.
Paul Elliott is a highly respected music writer and his work regularly appears in MOJO, Classic Rock, Q and Kerrang. He has interviewed Black Sabbath.
