Description

In 2013 the Royal New Zealand Ballet marks the company's sixtieth anniversary. This is a triumph for the vision of Poul Gnatt, who in 1953 established a dance company which undertook national touring. Follow the story of those sixty years, much of it in the words of the artistic directors, dancers and other key participants alongside memorable images. International tours to China, the USA, Europe, Australia and Fiji are covered, along with the many corners of New Zealand that the company has visited, and the work of training and rehearsing. An Appendix lists the complete repertoire of performed works.
