Ramin Zahed is a Los Angelesbased author and editor in chief of Animation Magazine. His books include the New York Times bestselling Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse: The Art of the Movie, as well as The Art of DreamWorks Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse: The Art of the Movie, The Art of Love, Death + Robots, and the previous edition of The Art of DreamWorks Animation. Jerry Beck is a noted animation historian and cartoon producer. As a film distributor, his company Streamline Pictures brought Miyazakis Totoro and Otomos Akira to the US. His over 15 books on the animation history include The Animated Movie Guide, Looney Tunes: The Ultimate Visual Guide, and The 50 Greatest Cartoons. He currently teaches animation history at Cal Arts, UCLA, and Chapman University, curates a monthly Cartoon Club for Quentin Tarantinos New Beverly Cinema in Hollywood, and edits two blogs, Animation Scoop and Cartoon Research. He lives in Glendale, California.
