CHAS GERRETSEN, born in 1943 in Groningen, is a Dutch photographer who worked as a photojournalist and publicity photographer. After stints in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Chilewhere he covered the coup dtat by General Pinochethe moved to Hollywood where he was hired as a still photographer for the movie Apocalypse Now.
