BEVERLEY BARE BUEHRER is a freelance writer and an Instructor at Kishwaukee College. Her previous books include Cary Grant: A Bio-Bibliography (Greenwood, 1990) and Japanese Films (1990). She has written on a wide range of topics, and her work has appeared in magazines such as Film Quarterly, Early American Life, and IVideo. She is a contributing writer to the Magill Cinema Annual.
