Anwen Jones is a lecturer in the Department of Theatre, Film and Television Studies at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. Her research interests include French drama and theatre at the turn of the nineteenth century and theatre in Wales, with particular reference to the eighteenth century Welsh Anterliwt.
