Author Bio

L.D. Hicks is a Texan with a degree in Christian ministry and Biblical studies from Letourneau University and a masters degree in American history earned at Norwich University in Vermont. He is also the author of Melania Trump: Elegance in the White House, the childrens book Clarence Thomas: The Things he Learned, Trump 45, and Volodymyr Zelenskyy: Defender of Freedom. Mr. Hicks has a love of Texas and world history, hiking, and electronic music, and he is very sad over the demise of the Pear Red Bull. He is a prolific reader, especially of J.R.R. Tolkien and British history, and is dabbling in writing fantasy here and there. Mr. Hicks has been with his amazing wife, Lisa, for thirty years, and they live in East Texas with Sophie Grace, his Australian shepherd, and Lulu, his half-Chihuahua fur baby.
