The issue, researched by Apertures editors in Mexico City, will feature photography by established figures such as Francis Als, Iaki Bonillas, Graciela Iturbide, Pablo Ortiz Monasterio, and Daniela Rossell, as well as some of the most exciting emerging figures at work today, including Melba Arellano, Miguel Calderon, Tania Franco Klein, Jess Len, Pablo Lpez Luz, and Lake Verea. The issue will also present leading Mexican and Latin Americabased writers to an international audience. Mexico City will offer a fresh take on Mexicos exceptional photographic culture, reflecting the energy and diversity of the city itself.
