Barbara Lloyd was a Director of the Marlborough Gallery of London for twenty years. She took up photography after leaving Marlborough. She is the photographer of several publications including Colours of Southern India (1999), Colours of Thailand (1996), Children of India (1995), and Reflections of Spain (1992). She lives and works in London.
