Reviews

Readers can take in panoramic views from their sitting room as Kate takes a look at the rugged beauty of Donegals coastlines and the natural wonders of its forests. Through Kates lens, we see surfers preparing for the next wave on Bundoran beach, snowcapped mountains reflected in the waters of Lough Finn, and rainbows over Burt Castle

-- Donegal News & Derry People

Her book showcases its spectacular, rugged coastline (the longest of any county in Ireland), from Donegal Bay to the Inishowen Peninsula, and includes its finest locations away from the coast. Organised by region, it reveals a wild landscape of towering cliffs and sandy bays, mountains and valleys, forests and meadows, castles and historic buildings. There are picturesque coves, secluded islands, dramatic rocky outcrops and spectacular waterfalls. Many of the landscapes are shot from the air to capture the grandeur of the landscape. Complete with extended captions, this is a well-researched and enjoyable book that may inspire you to add Donegal to your bucket list
