The influence of art, notably painting, is a thread that runs through the history of fashion photography. Erik Madigan Heck is a photographer, artist and the founding editor of art and fashion publication Nomenus Quarterly. He has collaborated with fashion designers and labels including Anne Demeulemeester, Haider Ackermann, Kenzo and Giambattista Valli.
