This book of sunsets photos is for those who love sunsets. I find it relaxing, grounding, and, as a result, stress-reducing.
And also for those of you who are so busy that you never noticed or stopped your day to know there were such spectacular sunsets.

At 17 years old, I saw the ocean for the first time in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The Atlantic Ocean and its huge sandy beaches were mesmerizing.
I arrived in Los Angeles at 25 for the first time. The stunning sunsets over the Pacific Ocean garnered my attention. I made it a point to watch the sunsets whenever I could.
The sunsets showcased an ever-evolving palette of colors, shapes, and sizes. It was like watching an artist painting his or her masterpiece, then change it in one fleeting moment to another masterpiece, and then disappear, followed by the night's dark skies. The palette of colors disappears until the next show-the next day's sunset.
After I watched the sunset skies for some time, I realized no two sunsets are alike.
I tried to capture those extraordinary moments with my camera.
Enjoy!!!

Dr. Otto Stallworth's first book published since retiring in 2018, after 45 years of a Los Angeles medical practice as an anesthesiologist, was "Are You a N****r or a Doctor" A Memoir.
The doctor's hobby since beginning medical school has been photography. His memoir chronicled his journey from Birmingham, Alabama during the 1940s, 50s, and 60s to Los Angeles, with many stops along the way.
In Los Angeles, he developed a passion for watching SUNSETS over the Pacific Ocean and photographed some, which he shares in SUNSETS by Otto, Jr., MD.
In 2018, Denise Nicholas, award-winning actress and author of the acclaimed book "Freshwater Road," invited the retired Dr. Stallworth to join her Longwood Writers' Workshop. And he began his memoir in that workshop and delivered it in December 2022 and published it in February 2023. His next writing task is a murder mystery novel (Murder at BeautyWorld) involving the murders of patients in a high-end plastic surgery center in Los Angeles.
In early 2022, he began a non-profit foundation, the Stallworth OhYes! Foundation, which, in August 2022, awarded four-year full scholarships to a student at Howard University in Washington, D.C., and to a student at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, his alma maters.
His goal is to award many more scholarships from donations to the Stallworth OhYes! Foundation.
