Maha Alasaker is a Kuwaiti visual artist based in New York City. Her work is focused on fine art, fashion and editorial photography. Alasaker's work has been published in magazines such as Harper Bazaar Arabia, Vogue Arabia, Marie Claire, Lady Gunn, and Material Girl to name a few. Maha has been featured in numerous exhibitions in New York City ,London , United Arab of Emirate and Kuwait. Her personal work engages with identity and cultural issues Nada Faris is a Kuwaiti writer and performance poet known as Kuwaits Finest. She writes poetry, articles and fiction in English, and is an Honorary Fellow in Writing at Iowa Universitys International Writing Program (IWP) and an alumna of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), USA. Her book Fountain of Youth is the 2016 Vine Leaves Vignette Collection Award Semi-Finalist and is available from Vine Leaves Press.
