Chris Achilleos was born in Cyprus in 1947. In 1960, he came to London where, after leaving art college in 1968, he began to find work designing book covers and pin-ups. His subsequent career gained him a reputation as one of the best science fiction/fantasy artists in the world - a status he still holds today.
