The author, Joan Escandell, born in 1937 in Ibiza, is one of the most important comic authors of 20th century in Spain. Most part of his career he worked for the mythical publishing house Bruguera, very well-known in the whole Spanish-speaking countries, where he was one of the more prolific comic illustrators. He has collaborated with other European countries, like France with the series Antares, and Germany with his versions for He-Man.
