Author Bio

Having trained at art schools in London, Eileen Mayo came toAotearoa New Zealand in the early 1960s. An artist of great skill andobservation, with a deep love of nature, she produced paintings, woodengravings, linocuts, lithographs, book illustrations, stamp designsand more. Mayo taught at the Ilam School of Fine Arts at the Universityof Canterbury, and exhibited widely throughout the country. Her workis held in major collections in New Zealand and around the world.
