Immerse yourself in this delightful book and you are soon breathing in the atmosphere of these superb paintings. Take one look at these paintings and you will be inspired to either start learning how to paint with oils or to brush up your skills to advanced levels. The book takes you through step-by-step sequences to build up your confidence and your skills. Several useful sub-topics are covered such as using a limited palette, painting a landscape, painting skies, painting trees, working from photographs, adding foreground detail and painting flowers. If you are very nervous about attempting your first oil painting this is essential reading, as it covers everything. What I love about this book is each painting has notes to say exactly how it was accomplished. This book is sure to be a winner with any artist!
