* Crafts Beautiful *I was excited when I got this book as I wanted to learn about this topic but didn't really know where to start. I am only half way through the book and loving it. It is great for a learner starting by teaching you about how the colours work together and how to get your different depths of colour. So far I have found this book very unrestricted in how you put things together not too concerned about being perfect or exactly the same as the subject. Which is great for building confidence of those learning to do water colouring. I love how they break down the topics into different approaches from play, to prompt where you are learning a technique and then project where you put what you have learned in the topic. So far I am learning to build up layers. I love the colours in this book and the approach to teaching as it tells you not to worry and even gets you to make up your own animal. Good book for a learner or someone looking to get back into using their water colours.
* Amazon *Grab a paintbrush and be inspired with 100 creative ideas to help you learn to use watercolour paint in a joyful way. From choosing the right supplies through to step-by-step instruction of the various projects, the aim is to make painting fun and meditative, while also reassuring those less familiar with art that its fine to make mistakes, too.
* People's Friend *I love the book because it's easy to follow and very well presented. It's the perfect book for beginners or someone who hasn't painted for a long time like myself and my wife says she love to use it for ideas for her crafts too
