Description

Presenting a broad survey of fine arts in Wales during the modern period, this volume brings together individuals and events to give a coherrent account of the evolution of modern art in Wales. The author argues that there is a case for a "School of Wales" and that Welsh art has developed into a vigorous tributary to the mainstream of Western art.
