Gerd Woll is Head Curator of the Munch-museet in Oslo. She is the author of many articles and exhibition catalogues, including the much respected Edvard Munch: The Complete GraphicWorks.Woll has also contributed to many exhibitions and catalogues on the theme of Munch's worker paintings, most extensively as'Edvard Munch: Monumental prosjekter 1909-1930' held at Lillehammer in 1993. In 2001,Woll assumed responsibility for the Munch-museet's collections, and between 2004 and 2008 her time has been spent exclusively on overseeing the production of this, the first complete register of Munch's paintings.
