The story follows the old-old-old-fashioned vampire Vlad, who arrives at the hotel for an impromptu family get-together, putting Hotel Transylvania in for a collision of supernatural old-school and modern day cool. The film stars Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, Fran Drescher, Andy Samberg, David Spade, Mel Brooks, Keegan-Michael Key, Kevin James and Steve Buscemi and is scheduled to be released on September 25, 2015, by Columbia Pictures.

Author Bio

During his 19-year career as a writer and editor Brett Rector has crafted copy on a multitude of subjects to include features and product reviews, as well as interviews on everyone from engineers, designers, and artists to visionaries, luminaries, and celebrities. While serving as producer at LucasArts, Rector had the distinct privilege of co-authoring The Art and Making of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed with Haden W. Blackman, project lead and award-winning writer. While serving as editor-in-chief at Star Wars Insider Brett penned numerous articles and features based on interviews with entertainment professionals, including the producer of the Star Wars prequels, Rick McCallum, and visionary writer/director/creator, Genndy Tartakovsky. In addition to standard, feature-based writing Rector has written a multitude of instruction manuals for LucasArts, production diaries and blogs for Lucasfilm, as well as a handful of strategy guides for Prima Publishing. He lives in San Francisco, California.
