The essays by Jennifer Hay, Bruce Barber, Peter Leech and Pamela Hansford, as well as an interview with John Finlay and short texts by Christchurch Art Gallery director Jenny Harper and senior curator Justin Paton, provide informative, accessible insights into Drummond's "aesthetic language", and are accompanied by an extensive chronology.
