Description

The images are from the urban landscape of NYC. They have visual textures of the images that fascinate. Torn posters that have been pasted over other posters create a living collage of images that have been accidentally drawn together but which relate to each other as if they had been composed. I paint the ones that continue to resonate for me for a long time after I have first seen them. Locks, chains, metal works or simple street objects have their beauty. Shadows play an intricate role in all the work giving dimension and story.
