Author Bio

Patrick J. Jones is an award-winning sci-fi and fantasy artist and teacher. His work is collected worldwide, and his client list includes companies such as Disney, Lucasfilm and Roc Books. Patrick grew up in Belfast, Northern Ireland, during the worst of the 'troubles'. Influenced by artists Boris Vallejo and Frank Frazetta, he spent long days in the sanctuary of rooftops, drawing and dreaming of becoming a fantasy artist, to the din of street riots below. Today, Patrick mentors students online from his Brisbane studio in Australia, occasionally travels to draw at the world-renowned New Masters Academy and is an instructor at Proko.com.

Kiri stergaard Leonard is a fantasy illustrator with an ancient heritage steeped in Nordic myth and folklore. She grew up in the village of Boeslum in Denmark, the oldest kingdom in Europe, where she studied at The Academy of Fine Arts in Aarhus, after which she crossed the Atlantic to attend the Pratt Institute in New York. She currently lives in Austin, Texas, where she works as a full-time artist and illustrator of magical mythology, folklore and fairy tales.
